In Home Photoshoot
Includes approximately one half hour of set up time to arrange the set and lighting and then about 30 minutes at the end of the session to remove the lighting equipment and return the set to normal. The remainder of time is spent shooting. Several outfit changes are typical during a session.
Location Photoshoot
On location sessions are site dependent and can be discussed during your initial consultation. On location sets are often used when outdoor scenes are preferred or when the home environment is not suitable for the lighting set up or other technical reasons.
Studio Photoshoot
Studio sessions are available with advanced booking notice. Working in a studio is very much different than home and on-location sessions. A studio is essentially a large empty room. A place that requires an idea and everything to go with it must be brought to the studio. All the props, outfits, any make-up that may be required. That said, sometimes the studio is the best place for a photo session. No interruptions. No distractions. Just creativity.
All Photoshoots
A trusted person on the set to assist with outfit adjustments plus hair and make up fine tuning can be helpful. However, people not directly involved with the session are not permitted on the set or to view the set while a session is in progress. As much as a spouse might have good intentions, on the set it is usually a distraction and can turn attention away from the camera. With the exception of family sessions or when a spouse is included in the photograph, it is recommended that a spouse simply wait and enjoy the results of a creative session when completed. During family sessions or when photographing children a parent or legal guardian must be present. All sessions are about three hours.
A Model Release and a Photographer Release will be required if any of the images are to be used for commercial or marketing purposes. Release forms will be provided as necessary.
